Dr. Catherine Hall is the Department's Academic Counselor and Coordinator of Undergraduate Mathematics Enrollment & Placement. She is the advisor for all mathematics majors, so you can meet with her to decide which classes to take and monitor your progress toward your degree. You can also talk to her if you are experiencing difficulties in your courses. She is an excellent resource and advocate for all of our undergraduate students. You can find her office hours here.

There are many kinds of mathematical experiences outside of the classroom. These are a great way to test your skills, expand your knowledge, and meet other people who love math!

You have a lot of options! With a math degree, you have the analytical and technical skills to get a job in a wide range of fields including engineering, finance, software, biosciences, consulting, and insurance. The Math Club meets throughout each semester to host a variety of talks, campus visits, and field trips.

The Mathematics Department has a number of endowed scholarship funds to support its undergraduate majors. All math majors are encouraged to apply. Application forms will be accepted in March each year.
